Interested parties are invited to apply for the Overseas Koreans Foundation 'Adoptee Support Fund'
The government-sponsored initiative is intended to promote research, development and
implementation
of programs, which strengthen ties between the global adoptee community and South Korea.
Organizations whose work is in the realm of adoptee issues are strongly encouraged to participate.
Suggested fields of concentration are for the following areas:

A) Introduction/education of Korean language & culture
B) Activities which foster Korean identity
C) Sharing of information/networking amongst adoptee organizations
D) Conferences, workshops and forums involving any of the above mentioned |

| To apply, candidates must complete the Agreement, Application and Organization Background forms. |
| |
Clearly indicate your full contact details and attach a tentative budget and written expression of interest, (organization introduction, purpose/goals, target audience, benefits to Korean-adoptee community, etc). Also include the amount of financial award sought and describe its application towards the entire project budget (Awards vary based on size and scope of projects). There is no prescribed rubric for the written expression portion. Materials can include visuals, multimedia formats, or any form, which best expresses the represented group. Following initial assessment by the foundation review committee, OKF will notify short-listed candidates directly about the status of their proposal. Upon advance to the second round, successful bids must submit a final proposal with a complete budget. Approvals may take several
months to process and usually
experience a two to three month turnaround time. |
